DLA Piper brings Leeds waste PFI to close

DLA Piper has advised Leeds City Council on the successful close of the £460 million Residual Waste PFI Project. Veolia, appointed preferred bidder in November 2011, will commence the construction of a state of the art waste treatment facility on Cross Green Industrial Estate next year, subject to obtaining planning permission.
