DLA Piper strengthens Italian tax practice

DLA Piper today announces the appointment of Fabrizio Capponi (43) as partner within its Tax practice in Rome. Fabrizio joins the firm with a team of two associates from CBA Studio Legale e Tributario.
He joins from CBA Studio Legale e Tributario where he was partner and where he has gained a significant experience on corporate and tax law. Fabrizio specialises in advising on the tax aspects of complex financial transactions and project financings, assisting clients also on debt restructurings both from a structuring and completion perspectives, and providing auditors’ opinions pursuant to article 67 of the Italian Bankruptcy Law. Fabrizio started his career at Studio Associato Alderighi Tesauro before moving to Ernst & Young International in Rome. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" and is qualified as a Dottore Commercialista (Accountant and Tax Advisor) and as a Revisore Contabile (Chartered Auditor). Two associates join the Rome office together with Fabrizio: Roberta Moscaroli (39) as senior associate and Filomena Linzalone (32) as associate.

With these new arrivals, the firm's Italian Tax practice now numbers 3 partners and 12 associates.
